A relatively straightforward project, I found there were very few contemporary images of my home reservation at Acoma Pueblo. The US National Archives contains photographs taken during the first decade of the 20th century, and I wanted to depict the top of the Mesa 100 years later. Sparcely inhabited now as my people mostly have homes in Acomita, the area has been inhabited by the Acoma people for over 2000 years.
